The Three Lions skipper has spoken out after the disappointing result
Harry Kane believes England produced their best performance of Euro 2024 despite their failure to beat Slovenia on Tuesday night.
Gareth Southgate's side were abject during the fixture at the Cologne Stadium, managing just four shots on target throughout the match.
England did come close to scoring through Bukayo Saka, with the Arsenal star netting after some good work from Phil Foden.
His goal was disallowed, however, with the Three Lions ultimately forced to settle for a draw.

England have finished the group stages top of their own group, with Denmark behind them in second.
And Kane insists his side were better than in previous matches against Serbia and Denmark, despite their issues.
"That was the aim before the start of the tournament," he told ITV.
"Come top of the group and control our destiny.
"I thought we played a lot better than the other games. We couldn't just find that finish but we look forward to the next one.

"We created some half chances and there were some that we could maybe have done better."
Substitutes did make an impact for England, meaning it isn't all doom and gloom.
Kobbie Mainoo pulled the strings in midfield after coming on for Conor Gallagher, who was lacklustre in the middle of the park.
Cole Palmer showed glimpses of his Chelsea form after finally coming off the bench.
And Anthony Gordon stretched Slovenia late on, with the Newcastle winger setting up a chance that Palmer was unable to convert.
Kane believes the impact of the England substitutes bodes well.
"I think the boys who came on did really well and kept the energy high and that's what we need," he continued.
"We need everyone chipping in and that's what we are doing so far.
"These games are tough. We have been here before and stepped it up in the past when we have got to the knockouts.
"All games in this tournament are tough. It is going to be a difficult challenge ahead and we have enough ability to keep pushing."

England defender John Stones has also reacted to the result.
He, like Kane, believes the Three Lions were improved during the clash.
"The objective was to top the group and we have done that - it is not always going to be an easy road," he said.
"It is not going to be easy when we have a target on our back to beat us.
"I thought there was a lot of improvement from the other two games, we found people in the pockets and created more chances - another step in the right direction.
