Erik ten Hag reportedly feels let down by Marcus Rashford and two other players after losing his job at Manchester United.
The 54-year-old was axed on Monday just a day after his side had slipped to 14th in the Premier League table following a dreadful 2-1 defeat to West Ham.
Ten Hag helped Rashford evolve during their first season at United, with the England international netting 30 goals across all competitions.
Yet he often struggled to coax the best from the 26-year-old, who managed to score just eight times last season.

Rashford has, at the time of writing, scored just one Premier League goal.
He is also yet to respond to Ten Hag's sacking at a time when several of his team-mates have wished the Dutchman all the best for the future.
And the Daily Star say Ten Hag feels he has been 'let down' by Rashford and two other senior players.
Another star who initially thrived, only to dip, is Casemiro.

The Brazil international showed why he was one of the best midfielders of his generation as United finished third in the Premier League table and won the EFL Cup in 2023.
Yet Casemiro has often struggled in the time since.
He had been widely expected to leave for Saudi Arabia back in the summer but, with no offers arriving, ended up staying.
In 2022, the same summer Casemiro joined, United spent a massive £85million on Antony.

Ten Hag knew the forward well, having previously managed the 24-year-old at Ajax.
But the Dutchman also feels the winger has let him down, with Antony scoring just 12 goals since his blockbuster move two years ago.
Meanwhile, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was asked about Ten Hag ahead of his side's Carabao Cup clash with Tottenham on Wednesday (8.15pm).
And Guardiola, who worked with Ten Hag at Bayern Munich, has backed his former coach to bounce back.
