The video was dubbed with comedic music and was captained, "So glad he's ok..."
Ten Hag was asked about the social media post in his pre-match press conference ahead of United's clash with rivals Manchester City and he demanded an apology from Fulham.
"I didn't know this but if they did it, I would say it is not right," he said.
"It is absolutely not right that a clip makes such statements.
"It is totally out of order and they were wrong so they should apologise for this."
The video has more than half a million views and still remains up on Fulham's TikTok page.
Ten Hag went on to defend his club captain and rejected the notion he was guilty of simulation.
“I thought on Saturday it was definitely a foul, and it was really misjudged from the media and social media, to blame him for that," he said.
“Then opponents are targeting him. Then the referee should protect him because they were false on him.

"And even after the ball was kicked away.”
Ten Hag added: “He (Fernandes) is a very passionate football player, very creative, he is creating the most chances in the Premier League, and you see opponents are targeting him, especially on Saturday after he’d had the knock.
“Then I feel the referee should protect him there. They had the chance already at the start of the game because it was so obvious they were looking for it.”

Ten Hag also claimed the Portugal international picked up a "serious injury" against Fulham but continued playing.
He was back in action on Wednesday to help United defeat Nottingham Forest in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
And the midfielder was on the receiving end of some tough challenges with Felipe at one stage grabbing him by the throat.
