England's travelling support inside Arena AufSchalke made sure to drown out the boos from Serbia fans with a loud rendition of 'God Save the King' before kick-off on Sunday evening.
Thousands of England fans travelled to Germany for the Euros to get behind Gareth Southgate's side.
The lucky ones to get tickets for the opening game of the tournament packed into Arena AufSchalke with the red and white clear for all to see in the stands.
Southgate's players were greeted with huge cheers as they emerged from the tunnel, but Serbian supporters began to boo when it was the turn of England's national anthem.

However, those jeers were soon drowned out as the thousands of England fans burst into song in a spinetingling rendition of 'God Save the King'.
The England squad stood tall as all 11 starting players were filmed loudly singing the national anthem.
Southgate was also filmed singing along before applause erupted around the stadium as the anthem came to an end.
England fans returned the favour once Serbia's national anthem began as a spatter of boos could be heard around the ground.
Dozens of St George's Cross' were displayed around the ground in what could have easily been mistaken for a home match on English soil.
Southgate's side head into the Euros as one of the pre-tournament favourites after reaching the final four years ago.
They lost to Italy on penalties and captain Harry Kane feels this is England's best opportunity to win their first major tournament since 1966.
"We all want to be remembered to have won a major tournament with England - not just to have had good campaigns - so we know it is something to respect and be proud of, and to keep pushing ourselves," Kane told BBC Sport.

"If we don't win, we're going to be disappointed.
"As much as you can be unlucky and go out on penalties, we really want to win and start winning as a national team because we have been taking steps towards this moment. It is going to be tough, we know that, but we're ready for the challenge."

He added: "It's not easy to play for England, first and foremost - even harder to get into the major tournaments.
"It's a proud achievement because I think it shows consistency, good work ethic, professionalism, and to be able to make yourself available for all the tournaments is not always easy."
