The Three Lions were sunk on Saturday night following a goal from Endrick

It's already known that England coach Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was involved in a blazing row with the fourth official as the Three Lions lost to Brazil on Saturday night.

And reports say the Dutchman was also involved in an 'animated' exchange with Jude Bellingham prior to the contest.

England weren't at their best as they lost to Brazil, with Endrick scoring the only goal of the game.

The 17-year-old, who is considered a generational talent, struck in the 80th minute to settle the contest in the capital.

Hasselbaink was furious with the number of fouls committed by Brazilian players.

The likes of Lucas Paqueta and Bruno Guimaraes were guilty of targeting Bellingham, who was unable to play at his usual high level as a result.

And Hasselbaink, according to the Daily Mail, was involved in an 'animated chat' with Bellingham prior to the contest.

It's claimed the body language of the pair suggested they were in disagreement.

And with Hasselbaink already enraged, it's no wonder he pursued the fourth official down the Wembley tunnel.

The report says Brazil defender Danilo attempted to calm Hasselbaink down.

Yet the former Chelsea and Leeds hitman gave the right-back 'a piece of his mind' in response.

Bellingham was clattered throughout the match against Brazil but hasn't flown home from the squad.

He is, therefore, expected to be involved in the Three Lions' clash with Belgium on Tuesday night.

And Gareth Southgate, previewing the contest, wants England to rise to the challenge of playing against such tough opponents.

“Belgium have played a different 11 probably, or close to, so they’re going to be a bit fresher," he stated.

“But similar to (Brazil) we’re talking about a high-level game, brilliant experience for the players, a chance to see new players again, build towards the summer.

“I’m not disappointed with the level of performance. I know in the end when you lose the game then there will always be a negative reaction to losing.

"But my thought was, with 15 minutes to go given all the changes that we’d made, I thought the crowd was already with the team.

“They could see a lot of young players going in and doing well, a lot of very inexperienced players going in and doing well, so I’m not down on the performance of the team at all.”

Southgate is expected to start Ivan Toney on Tuesday night.

The Brentford star is poised to lead the line in the absence of Harry Kane.

It will be Toney's first start for his country, coming just months after his return to football following a suspension for breaching betting rules.

And Southgate wants the former Newcastle star to make his mark on the international stage.

“You can’t hide that fact. He knows. It would be his first start so you’ve got to bear that in mind," he said when asked about Toney.
