Fans have demanded Newcastle sack Eddie Howe in the wake of the club's 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
The Toon took the lead in the 23rd minute when Alexander Isak coolly converted a penalty.
However, Chris Wood was a man possessed on his return to Tyneside and scored a stunning hat-trick to give Forest all three points.
Newcastle had gone into that game hoping to turn their recent form around.

However, their slump continued with Newcastle now losing four of their last five Premier League matches.
Hopes of another terrific season were high at the start of the season, especially after Newcastle qualified for the Champions League last term.
But with Newcastle out of both the Champions League and Carabao Cup, they're facing a fight to turn their situation around.
And some fans on social media now feel it's time for Newcastle to axe Howe and appoint a new manager instead.
"Realistically Eddie Howe deserves the sack," said one user.
"Surely Eddie Howe is very close to the sack? Newcastle have been absolutely shocking for quite a while now," stated a second.
"Howe has to go. We're going backwards. Forest sacked Steve Cooper. It's imperative to sack Eddie Howe," were the words of a third.
A fourth stated: "Sack HOWE NOW!!"
A fifth said: "Surely Eddie Howe’s job is in jeopardy. Got to be up there with ETH and Poch in the sack race.
"Only thing keeping them in role is nothing decent available on the market. Conte and Zidane wouldn’t be interested."
And a sixth said: "Eddie Howe needs to be sacked, said it from the beginning he’s not that guy to get Newcastle where they want to be."
For the time being, however, Howe's job seems to be safe.
The Newcastle boss has plenty of credit in the bank due to how the club performed last term.
Yet improvement is needed if the Magpies are to secure Champions League football for the second season in a row.
Howe was asked what was behind Newcastle's slump after their defeat to Forest.
