David Beckham kicked off his early 50th birthday celebrations with a glamorous party in Miami on Monday. The former footballer, who reaches the milestone in May, was surrounded by family and friends for the special occasion.
Beckham looked dapper in a velour tux as he began what his wife Victoria described as "the first of many birthday celebrations".
Victoria, who turned 50 last year, showcased her ageless beauty in a thin-strapped white gown for the event.
She shared her excitement on social media, writing: "What a way to begin the first of many birthday celebrations for @davidbeckham, surrounded by friends and family x Kisses from Miami!"

The Beckham clan gathered in what Victoria called their "favourite city" for the festivities.
The celebration was a family affair with three of the Beckham children in attendance. Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, joined their parents for the festivities.
Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz were notably absent from the gathering.
Cruz attended with his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29, with the couple reportedly showing affection throughout the evening.
Romeo was accompanied by his DJ girlfriend Kim Turnbull, 25.
Harper, the Beckhams' youngest child, made a striking impression with her platinum blonde locks and a stunning satin black dress.
The family appeared to be in high spirits as they celebrated the patriarch's upcoming birthday milestone together.
The star-studded event attracted numerous celebrities and sporting legends. David was joined by players from his Inter Miami team including Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and footballing icon Lionel Messi.

American football star Tom Brady and basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal were also present, with Beckham poking fun at his height difference next to the towering athletes.
Hollywood was represented by actors Justin Theroux and Fisher Stevens, while Grammy winner Marc Anthony also attended.
Beckham shared several photos on Instagram, including one with longtime friends Gabe Turner, David Gardner and Ben Winston, captioned: "Friends for life".
Another touching image showed him embracing Gardner, whom he's known since their Manchester United youth team days, with the caption: "Love ya Mate. 35 years between us".

Despite approaching his 50th birthday, Beckham appears to be embracing this new chapter with confidence.
Last month, he revealed to Men's Health UK that his body is "feeling better than it has done for a long time".
The former footballer maintains his physique by playing padel three times weekly and working out daily, often alongside Victoria.

He admitted he "loves" training with his fashion designer wife but gives her "a lot of grief" during their sessions.
When asked if turning 50 worried him, Beckham was clear, saying it "doesn't bother him one bit."
He explained: "As long as I'm fit and healthy and my family are healthy, that's all I care about. I'm really happy. I've got the business and an amazing family. My kids are all working hard, and they've all got passions, and that's what's important to me."
