Cristiano Ronaldo has wished Ruben Amorim luck after his fellow Portuguese recently became the new manager of Manchester United.
The 39-year-old was appointed as the club's successor to Erik ten Hag earlier this month, with the Dutchman losing his job after a torrid start to the season.
Amorim arrives at United with big expectations, having worked wonders during his time at Sporting Lisbon.
Ronaldo, who fell out with Ten Hag towards the end of his second stint at Old Trafford, has now reacted to his move.

And the Al-Nassr star has wished Amorim well while also admitting that United 'need luck' to get back to the top.
“I wish him the greatest luck in the world because Manchester needs it," he said.
United initially chose to stick with Ten Hag back in the summer after the fallen giants beat Manchester City 2-1 to win the FA Cup.
It was the 54-year-old's second trophy in as many seasons, having guided them to Carabao Cup glory in 2023.

But that decision backfired almost immediately, with United winning just three matches in the Premier League prior to his dismissal.
Amorim yesterday spoke to club media for the first time since touching down from Sporting.
The young coach says he's chosen to take charge of United because he felt it's a 'special' club - and one he feels a 'connection' with.
"First of all, I think I felt a connection with the club," said the Portuguese.

"And when I say with the club, everybody knows Manchester United.
"But I feel the connection with the people in the club and that is very important for me because I want to work with people that I like and I feel a connection.
"The second point is the history of this club. All the people are hungry for success and I feel that this is the place that I want to be also because of that, because you can be part of something special, not just one more.
"And that is something that I really like. And of course, because of the fans, because in Portugal you listen a lot, a lot of stuff from the media.
