The club is grappling with a growing injury crisis, potentially leaving up to nine players sidelined for their Premier League clash at Leicester.
Ronaldo expressed confidence in City's ability to bounce back, stating at the Globe Soccer Awards: "Teams have moments. Difficult times, good times... City are passing through a difficult moment but I'm 100 per cent sure they will be back."
The former Manchester United star praised Guardiola's abilities: "Guardiola is a very smart coach. He knows where the problem is coming from. They will be there like always."

The 39-year-old was close to joining Manchester City in 2021 before making a dramatic U-turn.
Manchester United intervened when they learned of City's interest, persuading their former star to return to Old Trafford instead.
That spell proved unsuccessful, ending with Ronaldo's controversial interview with Piers Morgan where he criticised manager Erik Ten Hag.
Ronaldo is currently playing for Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr on a reported £177m per year contract.
His current deal with the club is set to expire this summer, just months after he turns 40 in February.
The Portuguese star also stirred controversy at the Globe Soccer Awards by criticising Rodri's Ballon d'Or win.
