The beloved TV presenter is set to make a return to TV screens alongside Ben Shephard

Sporting legend Chris Kamara is set for a dramatic return to TV after being forced to retire from Sky Sports in April 2022.

Kammy was diagnosed with speech apraxia, which is a disorder of the brain and nervous system which can prevent sufferers from performing certain tasks or movements.

But according to the Daily Mail, the 65-year-old will make a sensational return alongside close pal and This Morning presenter Ben Shephard.

The two struck up a close bond while presenting the popular show Goals on Sunday in 2010, which ran through the Premier League matches on Saturday on Sunday mornings.

Now the pair will embark on a new journey as they prepare to front a travel series.

It will see Kamara and Shephard travel around various parts of the United Kingdom in a camper van.

It is hoped that they can replicate the recent successes of other travel programmes such as Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip on ITV.

The show sees TV chefs Gordon Ramsay, Gino D'Acampo and maitre d' Fred Sirieix gallivanting around Europe.

Comedian Jack Whitehall also had huge success with his own travel show Travels With My Father, which Netflix has produced five series of to this date.

He said: "I've been there twice now. I'm going back for a third time. I've got the fluency in my speech.

"The only thing I haven't got is the speed of old, I know I talk 300 miles an hour before, but I'd like that back if I can. So I'm going back for more treatment."

Shephard joked: "I used to get annoyed at Kammy, and say 'If only you would think before you spoke', and now he’s thinking too long. It’s about trying to find a balance."
