Chelsea's home tie against Wolves will go ahead as planned at 2pm despite a medical emergency stopping fans from being allowed into the grounds earlier this afternoon.
Sky Sports first reported that a security alert around midday had 'briefly stopped fans being allowed into the ground'.
The alert soon stopped, but there were fears that the kick-off was going to be delayed as the situation was investigated.
But the game was confirmed to be going ahead as normal with suggestions it was related to a 'fire in a kitchen at the nearby Millenium Hotel'.
However, Sky Sports later confirmed the delay to fans being allowed into the stadium was down to a 'medical emergency'.

Sky Sports' Ron Walker said: "Chelsea are not commenting on the finer details of what happened earlier which delayed fans getting into Stamford Bridge, but we understand it was a medical emergency somewhere inside the Stamford Gate entrance.
"The emergency services were called and the road outside the ground closed as a result, as well as Stamford Gate. Access was restored by 12.30pm, and everything operated as normal from there."
Mauricio Pochettino's side are looking to bounce back after a dismal defeat to Liverpool a few days ago.
Chelsea had been on a run of three consecutive Premier League wins to stop their freefall down the table.
Wolves are also hoping to get back to winning ways after their enthralling 4-3 defeat to Manchester United on Thursday.
Just two points separate the two sides ahead of kick-off, with Chelsea holding the slender advantage.
Pochettino wants a better display from his team though than the one they put in against Liverpool on Wednesday evening.
Although he also complained about the officiating, insisting his side didn't get the luck they deserved.
He said: "I didn't want to talk about the decisions. I think we need to split the situation.

"I think the performance was not good enough, that I repeat again.
"It's important to be critical and analyse what happened, to be realistic that we were not good enough but what I can say now, after two days, that some decisions happened in the game, maybe today and after the game we talk in a different way.
"But at the moment, we cannot complain. I need to defend my club and my fans. But in the end it was so clear.
