The 41-year-old had his contract terminated on Thursday
The BBC do not currently expect Jermaine Jenas to return following his sacking on Thursday, according to reports.
Shockwaves were sent around the country when it emerged the Beeb had cut the former footballer loose amid claims of 'inappropriate behaviour'.
Jenas allegedly sent a female member of staff an unsolicited text message, with the 41-year-old denying any wrongdoing.
The former England star, who scored one goal for his country, has said there's 'two sides' to every story and currently has lawyers working on the case as he looks to clear his name.

Jenas has the support of his wife, who is reportedly standing by him at such a difficult time.
Yet a source has told The Sun that a return for the presenter currently looks out of the question.
"At present, the feeling is he won't be back on the BBC," the insider is quoted as saying.
Jenas has been a fairly prominent figure on the BBC in recent years.
He has appeared frequently on Match of the Day and, prior to Thursday's news, had been seen as the frontrunner to replace Gary Lineker.
Lineker's contract is due to expire next year and the 63-year-old had admitted he's unsure what the future holds.
Jenas has also been a regular on The One Show, where he often appeared alongside Alex Jones.
Jones, Lineker and other BBC presenters, cast and crew members have all been forbidden from contacting Jenas while the saga continues.

Jenas is also employed by TNT Sports.
But he won't be appearing on that channel for the foreseeable future, with the 41-year-old not pencilled in for any more matches this month.
Jenas is also employed by talkSPORT on a freelance basis and, on Thursday, was speaking live on air when news of his dismissal broke.
They've since defended their decision to quiz the former Tottenham and Newcastle star on the allegations.

But talkSPORT did confirm that Jenas wasn't set for a return any time soon.
Meanwhile, the former BBC employee said on Thursday that he couldn't really talk about the situation.
"I can't really talk about it. As you can probably see, I'm not happy about it," he said.
"But currently as it stands I'm going to have to let the lawyers deal with it.
