Mikel Arteta has lashed out at the referee in Arsenal's 1-0 defeat to Inter Milan for two penalty decisions that went against his side on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners have been in impressive form in Europe through their first three games having not conceded a single goal and picking up seven points.
Away at Inter was always going to be their toughest test to date with Simone Inzaghi's side in good form in Italy.
It was an evenly contested match for the most part and it looks set to be level at the break with nothing separating them.

That was until Inter were awarded a controversial penalty in stoppage time after Mikel Merino was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the box.
VAR agreed with the on-field decision to award a penalty with Hakan Calhanoglu confidently scoring past David Raya.
The incident came after Arsenal felt they should have been awarded a penalty after Yann Sommer appeared to miss an attempt to punch the ball clear and make contact with Merino's head.
Their appeals were waved away by the officials and Arteta was left feeling hard done by after the match.
"I am very proud of my players, the level of domination we had," Arteta said.
"We were very harshly done by in the sense that is obvious. Both penalties.
"If you are going to give a penalty, the other one has to be because he punches him in the head.
"There is no deflection, nothing you can do in the box, so can he get away from it.

"If he is going to give that the other has to be 100 per cent a penalty.
"We should have scored a couple at least but the way the team played, that was us at least. Every decision in the box makes a difference.
"The way we played tonight, the team can go to Chelsea and win."
