Ange Postecoglou is set to leave Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season, regardless of whether the club wins the Europa League.
The Australian manager's departure appears inevitable following Spurs' 18th Premier League defeat of the season against Nottingham Forest on Monday night, which left the club in 16th position.
The exit could come through dismissal or mutual agreement, with the team just one defeat away from their Premier League record of 19 losses in a single campaign.
Spurs still have a chance to salvage their season in the Europa League, where they face Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the semi-finals.

Victory in the competition would secure Champions League qualification and maintain Postecoglou's record of winning silverware in his second season at clubs.
The Australian could face either Athletic Bilbao or Manchester United in the final, should his team progress past the Norwegian outfit.
The departure of chief football officer Scott Munn, one of Postecoglou's key allies and biggest supporters, this summer has added to the uncertainty surrounding the manager's position.
The club has already confirmed former Arsenal chief executive Vinai Venkatesham will take over from Munn.
These administrative changes have contributed to the growing sense that Postecoglou's tenure at the North London club is drawing to a close.

Postecoglou has maintained uncertainty about his future, telling media after the Frankfurt victory "you're going to have to put up with me for a bit longer" while insisting he has "no idea" if he will remain as head coach.
The Australian has faced significant challenges this season, including injuries and an investigation into a suspected internal leak at the club.
He has also managed amid protests against chairman Daniel Levy and owners ENIC.
