Former England manager Sam Allardyce has launched a scathing attack on Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou, urging him to alter his tactics as the North London club sits 14th in the Premier League.
The criticism comes as Spurs endure a difficult period in both league and cup competitions, with Allardyce particularly targeting Postecoglou's perceived unwillingness to adapt his playing style.
Tottenham's struggles were highlighted last week when they suffered back-to-back cup eliminations, crashing out of both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup within three days.
The club's poor form has been evident across all competitions this season, with Postecoglou facing ongoing criticism for his team's performances.

Injuries have been cited as a factor in the team's decline, but Allardyce suggests this shouldn't be used as an excuse for their current predicament.
Speaking on the Footy Accumulators No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, Allardyce delivered a stark warning about Postecoglou's position.
"Managers have gone a lot quicker than Ange, and not done as bad as his results, and sadly you can only hide behind injuries for so long, irrespective of how much it's affecting the team and how difficult it is to get through that period," he said.
The former England boss emphasised that finding ways to secure results should take priority over maintaining a particular style of play.
Allardyce specifically criticised Postecoglou's tactical approach, highlighting the manager's reluctance to adapt his methods.
"You've got to find a way to get results, and I think that as the game is today, his inability to change - and to provide a way of playing to win - is much more important than the style of play, and he doesn't seem to accept that," Allardyce stated.
The veteran manager suggested that Postecoglou's unwavering commitment to his preferred style could be detrimental to the team's success.

Allardyce concluded his criticism by highlighting what he sees as a broader issue in modern football management.
"Many coaches seem to be hellbent on one style only," he said on the podcast.
He stressed that flexibility should take precedence when results are poor, adding: "There comes a time when that has to be put to one side to do the right thing for the team, to win a game of football, until you can get back to what you really want to do."
