Amad Diallo has been criticised by Dion Dublin after failing to put Manchester United in front against Manchester City on Saturday.
The two rivals are in action at Wembley, with both teams hoping to win the Community Shield.
City were the better side throughout most of the first half.
However, it was United who could easily have gone in front - with Amad attempting to pass to Mason Mount instead of converting himself.

The chance came after a beautiful move that saw Amad and Casemiro exchange passes, with the former then left to rue his unselfishness.
And Dublin, commentating for BBC Radio 5 Live, has now criticised the forward and accused him of 'trying to score the perfect goal'.
"He's three yards out on the angle, he tried to score the perfect goal," he said.
"Amad Diallo just tried to be too clever, just put the ball in the back of the net.

Amad is set for a big season at United, having started to show some signs of promise towards the end of the previous campaign.
He has been deployed at right wing for today's fixture in the capital, with Bruno Fernandes down the middle and Marcus Rashford on the left.

Amad has just one year left on his contract, though the Red Devils do have the option to extend it by a further year.

"I'm very happy here," he said.
"I think everyone is happy with me because I smile with everyone, good energy.
