The Three Lions were put to the sword on Thursday night
Alan Shearer believes Ollie Watkins will be 'raging' with Lee Carsley after England lost 2-1 to Greece in their Nations League clash on Thursday night.
The hosts were the favourites to secure victory after going strong for the showdown at Wembley Stadium.
Yet while Jude Bellingham scored for England, Greece secured all three points after two second half goals from Vangelis Pavlidis.
Carsley opted to go strong for the match, with Bellingham, Cole Palmer and Phil Foden all unleashed.

However, one player left out was Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins - despite his brilliant form at club level.
Watkins was eventually brought on but was unable to make much of an impact as England slipped to defeat.
And Shearer, speaking on the Rest is Football podcast, thinks the 28-year-old will be 'raging' after being left on the bench - particularly in the absence of Harry Kane, who missed out through injury.
“You would be absolutely raging if you were Ollie Watkins, wouldn’t you?" he said.

"Your main centre-forward is injured and you’ve been crying out for an opportunity.
"When you’ve come on, you’ve actually done alright, in terms of Watkins and he’s doing well at club level.
"Yet, when Kane is out, the manager comes to you and says, ‘Well, I’m not going to play you tonight at home against Greece, I’m going to try something different.
“He’s got every right to be (raging) he should be knocking on his door, tonight or tomorrow, saying: ‘I have to play the next game if Kane is next fit’.”

Watkins scored a stunning goal for England at Euro 2024 back in the summer as they beat Netherlands 2-1 to make the final.
It is currently unclear if he will start when the Three Lions face Finland on Sunday, however.
As for Carsley, the England boss won plaudits after his team beat the Republic of Ireland and Finland last month.
But with England failing to beat Greece, he may have dented his chances of landing the job on a permanent basis.
