Formula One legend Michael Schumacher is set to become a grandfather, as his daughter Gina-Marie has announced she is expecting a baby girl.
The 27-year-old equestrian champion shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a heartwarming photograph featuring pink 'new baby' balloons alongside a young foal in a picturesque field.

The wedding ceremony earlier this year was notably inclusive, welcoming family friends who are typically kept at a distance from the private sphere of the Schumachers.
German media reported that Michael Schumacher himself was in attendance at the celebration, marking what would have been his first public appearance in over a decade.
Due to the family's strict privacy measures, guests were required to leave their mobile phones at the door to prevent any unauthorised photographs being taken of the seven-time F1 champion.
The intimate gathering took place at the family's Mediterranean estate, maintaining the careful balance between celebration and privacy that has become characteristic of the Schumachers.
Since Michael Schumacher's skiing accident in the French Alps in December 2013, which left him requiring round-the-clock medical care, his wife Corinna has maintained a protective shield around his privacy.
