Max Verstappen fumed at the FIA's decision to punish him for swearing and has threatened to take extreme action.

After talking to stewards, Verstappen was told to complete 'work of public interest', prompting a furious reaction.

That included refusing to speak at the post-qualifying press conference and ignoring the FIA's official presser and he has since gone one step further.
Following the race on Sunday, the Dutchman said: "I mean, these kind of things definitely decide my future as well.
"You can't be yourself, or you have to deal with these kind of silly things.
"I think now, I'm at the stage of my career that you don't want to be dealing with this all the time. It's really tiring.
"Of course, it's great to have success and win races, but once you have accomplished all that, winning championships and races, you want to just have a good time as well.

"Of course, everyone is pushing to the limit. Everyone in this battle, even at the back of the grid.
"But if you have to deal with all these kinds of silly things, for me, that is another way of [not] continuing in the sport."
Verstappen still leads the drivers' table in Formula One despite plenty of recent problems.
The current champion saw his lead cut to 52 points as McLaren's Lando Norris finished ahead of him in Singapore as his team-mate Oscar Piastri finished third.
Recently, legendary designer Adrian Newey left Red Bull after nearly two decades to join Aston Martin following a row with team principal Christian Horner.

“I don’t know how seriously they will take that kind of stuff but for me, at one point, when it’s enough, it’s enough,” Verstappen added.
“We’ll see. Everything will go on, I have no doubt.
"It’s not a problem because Formula One will go on without me, but it’s also not a problem for me. So it’s how it is.”
