McLaren's Lando Norris has issued a stark warning to Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen ahead of the 2025 season, vowing to adopt a more aggressive racing approach.
The British driver declared he needs to "get my elbows out" when battling with the Dutchman on track this year.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Norris emphasised he would no longer "willingly give him any positions" during their wheel-to-wheel encounters.
The statement marks a significant shift in tactics from Norris, who finished second to Verstappen in last year's drivers' championship battle.

Norris faced sanctions following an incident at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA).
Verstappen also received a penalty during the Mexico City Grand Prix as the two championship contenders battled throughout the season.
These encounters formed part of a season-long duel that ultimately saw Verstappen emerge victorious in the drivers' championship.
Despite his more combative approach, Norris emphasised the importance of tactical racing against the world champion.

Reuters"You have to be a smart driver to go up against Max," the McLaren driver told Sky Sports.
Norris also reflected candidly on reviewing his past racing performances.
"I like those moments when you have to make those quick decisions. It's always a lot harder when you're in the car than when you rewatch it after," he said.
"Even when I see some things that I do, I'm like, 'what the hell have I done? What an idiot,'."
Preparations for the 2025 season are already underway for Norris, who has completed Pirelli tyre tests and driven the new MCL39.
The British driver will next appear at the F1 75 event at London's O2 Arena on Tuesday.
