Geri Halliwell reportedly read Christian Horner the riot act after landing in Bahrain prior to Saturday's Grand Prix.
Horner was cleared of misconduct by Red Bull in midweek but, less than 24 hours later, alleged text and WhatsApp messages sent to a female employee were leaked.
The Red Bull team principal continues to deny any wrongdoing and is confident of keeping his job, a position he's occupied ever since 2005.
Wife Geri flew out to meet Horner in the Middle East and the couple put on a united front during Saturday's race in Bahrain.

It was a good day for Red Bull, with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez securing a one-two to lay down a marker for the season ahead.
And The Sun say Geri 'read the riot act to Horner' after landing in the country, with friends left 'astonished' after she opted to stand by her husband in public.
An insider is quoted as saying: “A lot of people who know her are astonished by this show of support.
"There is absolutely no doubt she is furious and has read him the riot act over what has happened.
“There are questions about her future with him and she let him know in no uncertain terms.
"It’s uncertain whether their marriage will survive but she is giving it a good chance by showing him support, at least in public.
“But deep down she must be hurt, humiliated and very, very angry.
"However, this does at least show she hasn’t gone nuclear and run to the first expensive divorce lawyer she can find.”
Horner, according to the insider, told Geri he had fallen out with the female Red Bull employee.
He apparently sold the situation as a 'workplace row', only for the alleged leaks to 'move the goalposts'.
They added: “The texts leak moved the goalposts — and Geri was furious about it.
"When Christian first told her about the situation, he said he had fallen out with a woman who wanted promotion and more responsibility in Red Bull.
"So he sold it to Geri as a workplace row and she accepted that. So Geri is now fuming that there appears to be more to this.”
It's also claimed Geri is using her Christianity to help navigate such a difficult time in her life.
The Spice Girls icon turned to religion in 2001 and is reportedly keen to keep her family together.

Horner continues to deny any wrongdoing.
He's currently on course to be in charge when Red Bull go again at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix next weekend.
Verstappen will be the favourite to win the race, especially given how he dominated F1 last season.
His father, Jos, has however opted to take aim at Horner and says Red Bull risks exploding if the 50-year-old remains at the helm.
"There is tension here while he remains in position," said the Dutchman.

“The team is in danger of being torn apart. It can't go on the way it is. It will explode.
"He is playing the victim, when he is the one causing the problems.”
There have been suggestions Jos is responsible for the controversy that currently surrounds Horner.
But the 51-year-old insists that isn't the case, saying: "That wouldn't make sense.
“Why would I do that when Max is doing so well here?”
