Amid Red Bull's probe into Horner, Geri is reportedly struggling.
A source has told Closer that the former Spice Girls star is in a state of 'absolute turmoil' and is 'struggling to eat' while the process plays out.
It's also said the 51-year-old is struggling to eat and sleep and barely functioning while the saga plays out.
“Obviously this has been a hellish time for Geri and she’s been in a state of absolute turmoil – trying to hold it together for the kids while quietly crumbling inside," the insider is quoted as saying.
“The media speculation coupled with all the interrogation and drama going on internally has left her fairy-tale life in tatters and she’s at rock bottom – struggling to eat, barely sleeping and just about functioning as she struggles to deal with it all.”
The insider also added: “The speculation is driving Geri crazy and it’s making her extremely anxious.
“She says she feels like she’s in a living nightmare and is absolutely terrified about how things could unravel.”
Red Bull would like the investigation into Horner to be concluded swiftly.
But there's no guarantee that will happen amid reports suggesting the lawyer in charge of the process is currently on holiday.
Geri continues to stand by Horner and believes her husband has done 'nothing wrong'.
And it'll be intriguing to see if Horner attends Red Bull's car launch on Thursday, with the first F1 race of the new season just weeks away.
Red Bull have been unstoppable over the past few years.
Max Verstappen has won the past three F1 titles, establishing himself as the man to beat in the process.
Horner has played a key role amid the 26-year-old's outstanding form on the grid.
And the Red Bull chief was also a key factor in Sebastian Vettel winning four crowns on the trot between 2010 and 2013.
