Christian Horner reportedly doesn't have WhatsApp on his computer, something allies think is key as the saga surrounding the Red Bull chief continues to rumble on.
The F1 side recently cleared the 50-year-old of misconduct, much to the relief of Horner and his family.
However, alleged text and WhatsApp messages sent by the Briton were then leaked to 149 figures associated with Formula One.
Horner is yet to confirm or deny the legitimacy of the leak, though did say he wouldn't comment on 'anonymous speculation from an unknown source'.

According to the Daily Mail, however, allies think Horner not having WhatsApp on his computer is key to the case.
It's claimed that some of the alleged messages start with lower case letters, with WhatsApp normally capping up the first letter.
That is not the case when using the platform on a desktop.
And with Horner apparently only having WhatsApp on his phone, he would have had to deliberately uncapitalise the first letter of each message.
Horner continues to deny claims of inappropriate behaviour. He has also made it clear he feels he'll be at Red Bull for the long haul, having previously been appointed as team principal all the way back in 2005.
Horner's complainant, it emerged on Thursday, has been suspended by the F1 side, though it's currently unclear why.
And his wife, Geri Halliwell, is now set to attend the Grand Prix on Saturday.
Geri had been expected to miss the event due to her busy schedule.
However, the Spice Girls icon is set to join Horner on the grid as Red Bull look to continue their positive start to the new season.
They were impressive in Bahrain last Saturday, with Max Verstappen cruising to victory.
Verstappen has been linked with a blockbuster move away from Red Bull amid the ongoing certainty surrounding Horner's future.
There has even been talk of the 26-year-old potentially crossing the divide and moving to Mercedes, with Lewis Hamilton off to Ferrari next year.
But Horner says Verstappen will stay.
The driver's father, Jos, has criticised Horner and recently said the team would 'explode' if he stayed in charge.
Yet the Red Bull chief insists they're both aligned in wanting Verstappen to continue to succeed.

"I spoke to Jos following the grand prix, and obviously congratulated him on his son's performance," said the 50-year-old.
"And I think it's in everybody's interest, collectively, that we've agreed to move on, to focus on the future.
"We both have a vested interest in his son, to get the best and provide the best cars for him and to get the best out of him, and he's started the season in the best possible way.
"He's an outstanding talent and hopefully we can continue to provide him with a very competitive car."
Horner also blasted back at 'intrusions' into his personal life.

"The intrusion on my family is now enough," he said.
"We need to move forward. It's time now to focus on why we're here, which is to go Formula One racing.
"There's been one thing after and a lot of leakage around what is a private and confidential matter between the employees and the company.
"It's unfortunately through that leakage garnered an awful lot of coverage."
