Brooklyn Beckham, the 25-year-old eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, has joined Formula E's innovative new 'Evo Sessions' programme alongside ten other celebrities.

The budding entrepreneur will partner with one of Formula E's prestigious teams, which include Jaguar, Nissan, McLaren, Porsche, and Maserati.

The programme will test whether the selected personalities have what it takes to become elite Formula E racing drivers, with their journeys documented across social media platforms.

The intensive training programme will span six weeks, with participants paired alongside professional drivers and their respective teams.

Among the notable participants joining Beckham are former Argentine footballer Sergio Agüero and "Emily in Paris" star Lucien Laviscount.

The entire experience will be captured for a special feature documentary set to release later in 2025.

Speaking about the opportunity, Beckham told Hello Magazine: "I've loved motorsport all my life.

"So when the opportunity came to be a part of Evo Sessions with Formula E, I jumped at the chance."

"So I'm pleased I'll be learning from the best in how to get the most out of them."

Beckham's connection to motorsport runs deep, having previously driven the safety car for Formula E at their Mexico race in 2020.

His father David's passion for cars was evident in his choice of wedding gift to Brooklyn in 2022 - a £500,000 electric Jaguar.

The elder Beckham later admitted to British GQ that he regretted giving away the vehicle, saying: "Having driven it myself for 20 minutes, I didn't want to give it to him in the end."

Addressing potential public scrutiny, Beckham told the BBC: "When this comes out, people are going to think I'm going to try to become an F1 driver, they'll think I'm going to change careers again."

However, he remained confident about the programme's significance: "But people will understand and realise how mentally tough this sport is."

The young Beckham also shared his vision for Formula E's future: "Formula One has been around a lot longer, the world is changing, so I think this category definitely has a chance to get closer to it."
