The Toffees have picked up just seven points from their opening nine Premier League matches
Everton boss Sean Dyche didn't hold back after being quizzed on his side's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Merseyside derby on Saturday.
A brace from Mohamed Salah consigned the Toffees to a sixth Premier League defeat of the season.
Everton did well to stay in the game, especially after an early red card for veteran Ashley Young.
But Liverpool, roared on by the Anfield crowd, picked up all three points due to Salah's well-taken double.

While the Reds won, however, they were fortunate to avoid being reduced to 10 men in the second half.
Defender Ibrahima Konate tugged the shirt of Beto while already on a yellow card. However, he instead stayed on the field before being hooked by Jurgen Klopp just moments after.
Dyche praised Everton for the way they defended, despite being a man down for most of the contest.
But he was livid at the officials' refusal to dismiss Konate.
He said: "They are a good side, we know that.
"But we defended very well. Red card [for Young] is touch and go. Second one is a yellow.
"The penalty changes the game and it's difficult after that. I don't like the modern rule.
"I liked it when you had to make a deliberate act."
On Konate, he added: "I have no clue. I asked the referee [why he wasn't sent off].
"He felt it wasn't a bookable offence. I don't know what it is then. Klopp couldn't wait to get him off. He knows and we know.
"I got a yellow card! I don't know what for. For gesticulating what everyone in the stadium is thinking.
"I've seen the footage back. In a second, the ref is going no chance.
"I'd be amazing if anyone out there thinks it wasn't a yellow."
Even Jurgen Klopp admitted Konate should have been sent off.
Discussing his own verdict on the match, the Liverpool boss stated: "I wanted us to be calm and ignore that we were one man up.
"It is difficult in the stands because it’s like now you have to create with each possession and it took a while until we got chances.
"And then the penalty. I saw it back and it is a clear penalty.
"Ibrahima, could have gone, yes.
"It could have happened obviously and then we took him off and from that moment we were solid and compact.”
Everton will now look to put the result behind them when they face West Ham at the London Stadium next Sunday (1pm).
