Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman was served "karma" in last night's Euro's clash against England, sports reporter Paul Coyte said on GB News.
Gareth Southgate's side sailed through to the final of the tournament after a nail-biting clash against the Dutch side, with Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute.
Following heavy criticism of their performances in the early stages of the tournament, Coyte claimed the team played "like a different side" in Wednesday night's match, likening the side's tempo to that of a Premier League game.
Reacting to the victory on GB News, Coyte praised England, stating: "As we've gone through the rounds, it's almost like the shackles are off.

"I think the thing that made a huge difference was that penalty shootout against Switzerland, because it seemed to give the team confidence. You could see how confident they were with those penalties, and I think it's now moved on and there's confidence within the team."
When asked by host Stephen Dixon for his thoughts on the Harry Kane penalty, Coyte said that "technically" it shouldn't have been a penalty, but it was "karma" for Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman.
Coyte explained: "I'm calling it Koeman karma. Back in 1993 when England were qualifying for the World Cup, away against the Dutch. Koeman stopped David Platt running into the box, it should have been a penalty.
"It was given as a free kick, and he should have been sent off. Then Koeman stayed on the pitch and scored the winning free kick at the other end. All these years on, I never forgot. So Koeman karma are the words for the day."

Sharing his verdict on the Kane penalty, Coyte admitted it "wasn't a penalty", but declared "who cares?!"

Sharing his optimism for England in Sunday's final, Coyte told GB News: "We have not had luck over the years, if you think of all the things from Euro 1996 and Gazza [Paul Gascoigne] just missing out and the penalty shootout, the luck has never gone with England, and we deserve some luck.
"It finally seems that maybe we're getting it and that's what it is. We absolutely do deserve it."
Commenting on Gareth Southgate's performance as manager, Coyte said that after receiving widespread criticism in the earlier stages, the success of the semi final could be "vindication" for the England manager.
Coyte said: "Gareth has taken a lot of stick, and it was during those early games when plastic beer cups were being thrown towards him.

"Obviously it hurts, but he's stuck with it and he's done terrifically. And it was all about the substitutions last night."
Hailing Ollie Watkins for his last-minute winning goal, Coyte heralded the Aston Villa star's "phenomenal" cameo.
Coyte said: "He scored an amazing goal, it was phenomenal. It was the latest goal that was scored in either a semi-final or a final of a major championship, at 90 minutes.
"We've done it late again. We scored late, Jude Bellingham, penalties, every time it's late. And that's what great teams do."
