It was previously claimed in 2003 that the footballer had a fling with former personal assistant Rebecca Loos
Victoria Beckham has admitted she 'resented' husband David when claims of an affair emerged back in 2003.
The football icon was playing for Real Madrid in Spain at the time, having joined from Manchester United that same year.
David and Victoria married in 1999, four years before reports in the media made the allegations.
And the former Spice Girl, speaking in an upcoming documentary entitled 'Beckham', has now admitted she resented her husband at the time.

"If I'm being totally honest, yes I did," she said when asked specifically about 'resenting' David.
"It was the most unhappy I have ever been in my entire life."
She also said: "It was the hardest period because it felt like the world was against us.
"Here's the thing - we were against each other if I'm being completely honest.
"You know, up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other.
"But when we were in Spain, it didn't really feel like we had each other either.
"And that's sad. I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me. It was a nightmare.
"It was an absolute circus - and everyone loves it when the circus comes to town, right?
"Unless you're in it."
David has always strongly denied the claims.
The 48-year-old brands them 'horrible' in the documentary, adding: "There was some horrible stories which were difficult to deal with.
"It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage."
The candid Netflix show also addresses David's football career and his infamous fall-out with Sir Alex Ferguson.
Back in 2003, Ferguson accidentally kicked a boot in the dressing room that struck the footballer.
The former England captain had been dropped for a 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Arsenal at Old Trafford.
And David recalled the story by saying: “We walked in the changing room and the boss is fuming. I can see it by his face.
“And when you see the boss’s face like this, you don’t want to be anywhere near him. It is a face that no one can do, trust me.
"[He was f’ing and blinding] and I went back at the boss and said ‘no’ and then I swore. I said the f- word.
"And then I saw him change, and I was like, ‘S***, I really shouldn’t have said that’.
"I think I said the f-word too many times.”

Ferguson defends himself by saying: “I kicked the boot at his head. I mean, honestly, it was an absolute freak.”
And he also accuses David of 'managing' the incident to paint himself as the victim.
“Yeah I’m not going to talk about that," he said when asked about the photos showing David with stitches.
"The only thing I will say is that I think that was stage managed.
"It wasn’t even worth a stitch.”
