Michael van Gerwen has dismissed the idea of a boxing match between darts rival Gerwyn Price and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul as "ridiculous".
The three-time world champion expressed his disbelief at the prospect of such a bout ever taking place.
Price, 40, had previously challenged Paul to a fight, claiming he could knock him out with "one punch".
Van Gerwen, however, has poured cold water on the idea ahead of their Premier League darts clash in Berlin this Thursday.

Price, a former rugby union star, had revealed last month that Paul had responded to his challenge.
The darts star admitted: "He wrote back to me. The message says 'Come to Greece, man. Just name a price.'"
The Iceman claimed Paul wanted to battle it out in Greece, but joked he had been "too scared" to pen a response.
This potential crossover between darts and boxing has clearly not impressed Van Gerwen, who faces Price in Germany this week.

When asked about the potential Price vs Paul matchup, Van Gerwen was unequivocal in his assessment.
"What a ridiculous thing," he said. "I don't like it. I don't see that fight happening at all.
"Why would Jake Paul care about someone like Gerwyn Price?
"No chance, not now, maybe not ever."
Van Gerwen also appeared dismissive about his upcoming match against Price in Berlin.
"I don't care at all who I have to play against," he said.
"I didn't even know until you told me."
The Dutchman added: "You have to be ready for anyone anyway."

Price is fourth in the table, with Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, Chris Dobey and Stephen Bunting all currently outside the play-off places.
Jake Paul is currently focused on a blockbuster boxing bout with Anthony Joshua, rather than focusing on darts star Gerwyn Price

Meanwhile, Paul is currently targeting a fight with Anthony Joshua. However, according to his manager Nikita Bidarian, he'd ideally like that bout to take place in 2026 - rather than this year.
He told The Sun: "I think Eddie Hearn even DMd Jake and said, 'Why not in 2025?' And I'm sure Jake didn't respond to him.
"But again, there's zero clickbait, 100 per cent desire to do it in 2026 is what makes sense from a Jake Paul career perspective."
