Luke Littler has already faced the best around - now he wants to face THE best
Luke Littler has revealed who his dream opponent would be in darts - none other than the legendary Phil Taylor.
Furthermore, The Power has already given his answer - he would love to face the teenage sensation.
Littler has taken the darting world by storm this year after reaching the PDC World Championship final, ultimately losing to Luke Humphries.
But that was just the beginning for the 17-year-old, who went on to win the Premier League in his debut year in the competition against the best players in the world including former world champions Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith and Gerwyn Price.

However, facing the biggest names in darts has been a walk in the park for Littler in recent times and he would love to test his prowess against the best darts player of all time in Taylor.
After taking part in a Q&A on Instagram, Littler was asked who he would love to face on the oche in the history of darts.

The Nuke replied: "There's only one I would like to have a game against and that is Phil Taylor."
Taylor, who has won a record 16 World Championship titles, revealed he would retire from darts for good at the end of 2024 after spending the last two years on the Senior Darts Tour, which ends on November 17.
But the 63-year-old has admitted he would love to face Littler in an exhibition match should the opportunity arise.
Speaking to talkSPORT earlier this year, Taylor said: "I'd play him in an exhibition, yeah. One leg of 301, I go first!"

Taylor is an undisputed legend of darts and sports in general, having won an astonishing 16 World Championships.
Van Gerwen, who has widely been regarded as the best player since Taylor retired from professional darts in 2018, has the second-most titles with just three.
But Taylor has backed Littler to elevate the game even further, largely because he made him fall in love with the sport again.

He said: "I think he is absolutely fantastic, I have got to be honest with you, and I know he's got the backs up of the other pros which I love to see.
"I wasn't really watching darts, I wasn't really interested in it and he's made me interested in watching it again.

"He's a great little player, he's got a great little personality and it hasn't affected him yet. I don't think it ever will.
"I think he will keep his feet on the ground no matter how many tournaments he achieves, I think he will be a nice, young lad."
