Luke Littler has admitted he wants to climb higher than No 5 in the world following his sensational triumph at the Grand Slam of Darts on Sunday night.
The 17-year-old beat Martin Lukeman to secure glory in Wolverhampton, with the youngster claiming the trophy at the first time of asking.
The victory means Littler is now a millionaire, having also won the Premier League earlier in the year.
He's also climbed up to No 5 in the world rankings, 159 places higher than he was at this point in 2023.

It has been a stunning year for Littler, who blew Lukeman away by winning 15 legs on the bounce.
The 16-3 scoreline highlights his dominance, with the teenager continuing to defy expectations due to his young age.
And Littler, speaking after his latest win, admitted he was hoping to climb higher than the world No 5.
“I’m just so glad to win it," he admitted.
"I’ve been playing well all week long. But it’s paid off.
“I’ve always got to have the scoring power with me. I can’t afford to drop off in any leg. I had a slow start but I kicked on from there.
“I knew coming into the tournament if I did get my hands on the trophy I’d be up to No 5 in the world.
"But No 5 in the space of 12 months. There’s another two more rankings tournaments to come. I hope I can go higher from five.”

Littler also took to social media to share an image of himself with the trophy.
"Moments like these are why we play darts, GRAND SLAM CHAMPION," he wrote while accompanying his post with numerous emojis.
And darts fans have paid tribute to Littler following his victory, with many left in awe.
One said: "The Pele of darts, achieved so much in your first year at seniors, keep going!!"
