Luke Littler was not happy after it appeared that someone pushed his mother in the crowd

Luke Littler was furious with a fan after someone appeared to push his mum during his walk-on in Exeter on the fourth night of Premier League action.

The Nuke was making his way to the stage for the first time as he prepared to take on Stephen Bunting in the quarter-final.

But as his tune played out and he shook hands with fans, he turned to his mother in the crowd to give her a special hug.

However, after an exuberant fan tried to interject to shake hands with Littler, they appeared to push the 18-year-old's mother out of the way.

Littler reacted furiously and appeared to tell the fan to 'f*** off' in an angry moment.

The youngster eventually arrived on stage and still did not look happy, glancing over to check on his mum.

Whatever happened, it appeared to rile Littler up on stage as he put Bunting to the sword.

He raced into a 5-2 lead, hitting nine 180s along the way.

Bunting hit one back but it only put off the inevitable with Littler taking the next leg to claim a 6-3 victory.

The teen had arrived on Thursday night feeling 'under the weather' but looked imperious as he progressed to the semi-finals without much trouble.

For Bunting, it continues a worrying trend in the Premier League where he is yet to get a single win.

It sets up a semi-final tie against Nathan Aspinall, who beat Chris Dobey earlier in the night.

The Bullet remains rooted to the bottom of the table and his hopes of a play-off place are fading fast.

This is the second time that Littler is appearing in the Premier League after making his debut last year.

And, then aged just 17, the teenager went on to win the exclusive competition, where players are only invited to the event.
