Warrington Council will hold an extraordinary meeting next Monday at Parr Hall to appoint teenage darts sensation Luke Littler as an honorary citizen of the borough.
The special recognition comes after the 18-year-old's historic achievements in professional darts, including his recent World Championship victory.
The council is recommended to award Littler the honorary citizen title to acknowledge his significant contribution to the borough, according to the Warrington Guardian.
In January 2025, Littler defeated three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen to claim the World Darts Championship.
