Luke Humphries is out of the World Darts Championship after crashing to a shock 4-1 defeat to Peter Wright at Alexandra Palace on Sunday.
But the 29-year-old will still walk away from the tournament with £35,000 to his name, despite his failure to come out on top.
Humphries had gone into the clash as the favourite to go through, especially given how he's the world No 1.
Yet Wright managed to summon the magic of old, with the 54-year-old producing a brilliant display as he secured a stunning 4-1 victory.

Humphries, in the aftermath of the contest, showed class.
The 29-year-old congratulated Wright and expressed his confident that he'd win another World Darts Championship in the future, despite his disappointment.
And it can now be revealed that Humphries has earned £35,000 as a result of his exploits at the oche this winter.
As for Wright, the veteran will be pleased to know he's banked a cool £50,000 after making the last eight of the competition.

The 54-year-old will double that figure if he's able to make the last four, with the runner-up and winner set to pocket £200,000 and £500,000 respectively.
Wright cut an emotional figure on the stage after his win, with the Englishman visibly delighted at going through.
And he opened up after the showdown in north London, insisting he knows what he's capable as he prepares for the last four.
"I know I can beat the likes of Humphries and (Luke) Littler but those two guys also inspire me to carry on playing darts," he said.

"I'm not ready to go to the senior side yet, because I know I can still play this game.
"I knew I still had it in me to compete against the best players in the world.
"I've sat in the Premier League getting battered by these guys and wondering why I'm here, why they picked me and stuff like that.
"I don't seem to perform for the crowd there. It's really strange and annoying.

"I was in tears last year and Michael van Gerwen said, 'you don't want to do it anymore, do you?'
"I said, 'I don't know, maybe I don't, maybe I do, but I'm not going to give up'. And that's the main thing.
"I'm just trying to play the game I know I can play. I want to play like Callan Rydz.
"He's just going up there enjoying himself and playing fantastic darts. He should be favourite for this tournament. He's playing superb darts and long may it carry on."

As for Humphries, the 29-year-old reacted by saying: “There’s a long season ahead of me. We have another 12 months before we come back here and do it all again, but I want to win more in between that.
“I’m not looking towards next year’s World Championship yet, but when we’re back here next year, of course I would love to get my title back.
"I don’t see my career ending as a one-time world champion. I do feel like I will win more.”
