Gerwyn Price believes he can be the next person to stop Jake Paul in his tracks.

Darts star Gerwyn Price has called out Jake Paul for the second time in a week by mocking the 29-year-old on social media.

The 2021 world champion is a former rugby league player before focusing on darts in 2014.

Price has now repeated his confident claim on Instagram, posting a mocked-up photo of him standing up to Paul.

He added: "I could roll out of bed in the morning and get the job done."

Price played up to it even further by producing an AI image of him knocking out Paul with the Welsh flag draped over his shoulders.

The Welshman came close to stepping into the ring in 2022 for a charity fight, but the bout was called off on medical grounds.

Paul is yet to confirm his next opponent after beating Tyson in November as an agreement to go up against Canelo Alvarez fell through.

The Youtuber-turned-boxer has caused a stir since turning professional five years ago with many fighters calling out the millionaire.

But darts icon Dennis Priestley clearly feels Price is underestimating the 29-year-old, who's only defeat came against Tommy Fury in 2023.

“I don’t think Jake Paul is as bad a fighter as some people think. I’d get in the ring with him if the money was right!

“I assume that [the money] is why Gerwyn has come out with a statement like that. I’d back Jake Paul to beat Gerwyn if they ever did get in the ring.

“I think, deep down, Gerwyn knows that there’s no chance of the fight happening, but even so, he’s kidding himself if he actually believes he’d win.”

Paul caused a stir earlier this week when he sensationally claimed Tyson was suffering from Parkinson's disease prior to their fight in November.

The 29-year-old appeared on a live Twitch stream with Adin Ross where he said: "Toad is what cured Mike Tyson's Parkinson's, no sorry, toad cured Tyson's Parkinson's so he could come back and fight."

Paul then issued a statement on social media after the clip went viral, claiming he 'misspoke'.
