On Tuesday, Kevin Pietersen took to social media to take aim at Sadiq Khan and the current state of London.
And his post has now been liked by 19,000 people, with the England cricket icon's post going viral.
Pietersen yesterday said: "Gotta go into London today. NO WATCH and a plastic ring! Congrats, @SadiqKhan!"
He accompanied his post showing his hand outstretched, with a plastic ring on his ring finger.

Some users have taken to X to agree with Pietersen.
"Sadiq Khan has turned London into a crime zone. You can't walk 10 steps without fear of getting robbed," said one user.
"Solidarity, Kevin! Don’t let him win!" said a second.
A third user stated: "Don’t take your phone out either, if you need to make sure you walk close to a building with your phone in the hand closest to the building."
And a fourth simply said: "Khan out."
Not everybody was in agreement, however.
"What a weird thing to tweet," said one critic.
"You massive plank. I’ve lived in London for nearly 50 years. It remains as it has been all that time - a safe city. Stop lying," fumed a second.
A third said: "I come to London every day with a watch and ring on. Embarrassing tweet."
And a fourth fumed: "Absolutely no fan of Sadiq Khan, but you're exaggerating unfairly. It's still (mostly) a safe and welcoming city."
It isn't the first time Pietersen has taken aim at Khan.
In March, following a viral video of a stabbing inside a train, the England cricket legend said: "WTAF is this now in London?!?!?! London was once the most amazing city. It’s an absolute disgrace of a place.
"You cannot wear a watch of any value. You cannot walk around with your phone in your hand.
"Women get their bags and jewellery ripped off them. Cars get smashed in for a quick smash-and-grab.
"There’s this rubbing in the video below. @SadiqKhan must be really proud of what he’s created?!"
