England cricket icon Stuart Broad has admitted he was left 'emotional' after the Three Lions beat India on Saturday.
Ollie Pope starred with the bat and Tom Hartley flourished with the ball as the tourists won by 28 runs.
It was a sensational victory, one that didn't appear feasible given how England initially struggled earlier on in the Test.
And Broad has now reacted to the victory on social media, admitting he was left 'emotional' as England secured a memorable victory at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
England icon Stuart Broad has praised their pulsating victory over India and says he was left 'emotional' by win
"Felt emotional watching that!" he said on Instagram.
"Incredible from each and every one of these rogue heroes!"
Broad also shared a picture of England players celebrating and is likely wishing he was still part of the setup.
The former bowler retired from cricket back in the summer, shortly after a dramatic 2-2 Ashes series draw against Australia.
But England seem to be coping well without Broad and their victory over India will give them hope of winning the second test when that commences on February 2.
Ben Stokes, England captain, was extremely proud of his players following the day's play - and believes the win is his best since becoming skipper of the country.
"We have had a lot of fantastic moments as a team, great victories but given where we are, and who are playing, I think it's our greatest triumph since I have been captain," he admitted.
"To be honest it's my first time here being in charge of a team in India and captain in these conditions.
"You may not see it but I am a great observer of the game. I watched a lot of how Rohit Shamra set the field. I think that may have been obvious with our approach.
"I am thrilled for everyone involved with this win.
"For Tom Hartley to get nine wickets on debut, and Ollie Pope to get a big hundred after, is incredible. But everyone contributed."
He added: "Tom Hartley came into the squad for the first time and he's heard a lot of language spoken and confidence given to him.
"I was willing to given him a longer spell at the start regardless of what happened. It was a justification for what was going to happen later in the Test, in the series.
"Whether that's the reason he got seven wickets, who knows, but that was the thought process.
"I have played a lot of times with Joe Root on the subcontinent, but I think the situation we found ourselves with him in coming in at number there I think Ollie Pope's 196, the way he manipulated the field, I think that's the greatest innings played by an English batter in the subcontinent."

India captain Rohit Sharma, meanwhile, felt his side should have performed better as England came roaring back.
He lamented his team's defeat by saying: "We have played four whole days of cricket so it is hard to pinpoint one moment where it went wrong for us.
"Obviously, having taken a lead of 190 we thought we were really in the game.
"But there was an exceptional innings from Ollie Pope, probably one of the best I have seen in Indian conditions by an overseas batter. He was brilliant.
"But I definitely thought 230 was gettable. There wasn't loads in the pitch but we just didn't bat well enough."

He continued: "I went and analysed where we bowled, and we did bowl in a lot of good areas.
"They executed their plans but sometimes you just have to raise your cap and say well played because for Ollie Pope it was a serious knock.
"Overall, we failed as a team. We were in the game after both first innings were done.
"I wanted them [Bumrah and Siraj] to try and take the game to the fifth day because with 20 or 30 runs anything is possible. But our lower order did very well there, they showed our top order how to tough it out and be brave.
"We didn't take chances with the bat but it is the first Test of the series, so I hope we can learn from that."
