Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will face one another in the ring on December 11

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have had very different training camps ahead of their mega-fight on December 21 - particularly over how they have spoken to their wives.

Fury and Usyk will face off for the second time on December 21 in an almighty rematch where the Briton will look to avenge his solitary career defeat.

Usyk claimed a split-decision victory over the Gypsy King on May 18 when they fought for the undisputed heavyweight title, ending Fury's unbeaten streak along the way.

Ahead of their rematch in Saudi Arabia this weekend, the two fighters have spent months away from their families in training camps preparing for the seismic clash.

However, both men have dealt with the situation quite differently with Fury admitting that he has not spoken to his wife Paris for three months.

"It's been a long camp - been away from my wife and kids for three months," he said.

"I've not spoken to Paris at all for three months - not one word. I've sacrificed a lot. But it'll all be worth it, 100 per cent."

Paris is expected to be ringside for Fury's fight on Saturday while he also revealed that his wife lost her baby at six months pregnant on the eve of their first bout.

She said on Instagram: "People don't see the sacrifices made.

"I've let him solely concentrate on this fight. It seems like he's been gone forever, especially with no contact. But if it's what he needs..."

Usyk, meanwhile, has been the complete opposite and has revealed that he has spoken to his wife on a daily basis.

"It's helped me - because it's my family," the Ukrainian said on Tuesday.

"My little daughter, Maria, started to walk, say 'mama', 'baba' [grandmother]. This is real motivation for me."

Usyk will enter the ring as the hot favourite, a distinct change from the first fight where he was seen as the underdog.

The 37-year-old has built up quite the boxing record, having moved up from cruiserweight to heavyweight following his victory over Tony Bellew in November 2018.

Having clocked up 22 wins out of 22, he has beaten British boxers Anthony Joshua twice, Daniel Dubois and Fury, as well as Derek Chisora and Chazz Witherspoon - all at heavyweight.

Meanwhile, Fury has admitted he faced his toughest test yet when he fought Usyk earlier this year.

"I didn't feel as if I could have knocked him out at any point," he said.

"I hurt him a few times to the body and with head shots but I didn't feel I was going to take him out."
