Tyson Fury has announced his shock retirement from boxing, following back-to-back defeats against Oleksandr Usyk.
The Gypsy King, 36, revealed the news in a video shared on social media on Monday afternoon.
"Hi everybody, I'm going to make this short and sweet," Fury said. "I'd like to announce my retirement from boxing. It's been a blast, I've loved every single minute of it."
The heavyweight champion concluded his message with: "Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everybody, see you on the other side. GET UP!"

The announcement comes after his most recent loss to Usyk via unanimous decision in December.
As news of Fury's retirement spreads, a recent interview with his wife Paris has resurfaced, revealing her long-held desire for him to step away from the sport.
Speaking before Fury's bout with Francis Ngannou in October 2023, Paris told talkSPORT: "I wanted him to retire a few years ago. He isn't doing it."
She expressed hope that the Usyk fight would mark the end of her husband's career, questioning: "What more could he prove? What more can he do?"
Paris has been a constant presence at Fury's fights, most recently supporting him during his defeat to Usyk.
The Netflix documentary highlighted Paris's concerns about her husband's relationship with retirement.

"You saw it well documented on the documentary that he didn't enjoy it. He doesn't like being retired," Paris revealed in the interview.
Her comments shed light on the complex nature of Fury's decision-making around retirement, with the boxer previously struggling to remain away from the sport.
Despite acknowledging his difficulties with retirement, Paris maintained her stance that it was time for her husband to step away from boxing permanently.
This is not Fury's first retirement announcement, having previously stepped away from the sport in 2022 after defeating Dillian Whyte.

At that time, he declared: "I am done. Every good dog has its day. When is enough, enough?"
Fury had appeared content with his decision, stating: "I am happy, I am healthy. I still have my brains, I can talk, I have a beautiful wife, I have six kids, umpteen belts."
He also cited his achievements, adding: "I have plenty of money, success, fame, glory, what more am I doing it for?"
However, his retirement proved short-lived, as he returned to the ring just six months later to face Derek Chisora.

The retirement announcement has derailed plans for what would have been one of British boxing's most anticipated matchups.
Earlier on Monday, promoter Eddie Hearn revealed he had reserved Wembley Stadium for a potential Fury versus Anthony Joshua clash in "May or June".
Joshua had recently expressed his intention to face Fury, stating: "2025, I am targeting Tyson Fury."
The fight, dubbed 'The Battle of Britain', had gained momentum earlier this month with rumours circulating of an agreement being reached.
Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh had also expressed support for the showdown before today's announcement.
