The Gypsy King is open to facing Oleksandr Usyk for a third time, having lost twice to the Ukrainian last year

Tyson Fury has declared he would fight Oleksandr Usyk "any time, any place" despite announcing his retirement from professional boxing in January.

The Gypsy King made the bold statement in response to Usyk's recent interview comments.

Fury retired following his second defeat to the Ukrainian heavyweight champion back in December.

However, his recent social media activity and training sessions have sparked speculation about a potential comeback.

"Beat the f***er 2 times the world knows the truth," Fury wrote.

The comment suggests Fury believes he won both of their previous encounters, while also indicating his willingness to come out of retirement.

Meanwhile, Usyk is preparing for his rematch with Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on July 19.

The pair faced off on the Wembley pitch on Monday, with the encounter turning heated when Dubois shoved the Ukrainian champion.

Security personnel had to intervene to separate the fighters.

Dubois will be seeking revenge after his controversial loss to Usyk in August 2023.

The British heavyweight will be hoping for a different outcome in front of the home crowd at the national stadium.

Usyk has hinted that his career may be nearing its end, suggesting he will fight just once more after the Dubois rematch.

When asked who his final opponent might be, the 38-year-old mentioned Fury as a possibility.

"Maybe it's Tyson Fury. Maybe it's Anthony Joshua," Usyk said.

The Ukrainian dismissed the notion that Fury has truly retired.

"He's not retired. I think Tyson will continue training, continue boxing, because he's a great man," Usyk said.

"Yes, Tyson Fury... a lot of speak - blah blah blah blah - but it's good. Great man, wow."

Fury's actions have further fuelled speculation about a retirement U-turn after he was seen training with SugarHill Steward on Monday.
