Tyson Fury has announced his retirement from boxing for a fifth time.

Former world champion Duke McKenzie believes Tyson Fury will make another comeback, insisting "100 per cent, it probably will happen" regarding a potential Anthony Joshua fight.

Speaking to talkSPORT, McKenzie suggested that even if Fury stays retired, he should remain in boxing as a promoter or manager.

"He's said the same thing several times, and then something comes in his mind a few months on when he gets bored," he said.

"It says 'I have to do the only thing I can do' and that is boxing. And I don't see him as a TV analyst.

"I don't think he has the mentality for that. I think his forte would be staying in the sport, but maybe as a promoter or a manager.

"I think he'd be great at that if he chooses not to come back, he will always be involved in boxing.

"But I just think he still has another fight in him."

Fury announced his retirement from boxing earlier today in a video statement, following back-to-back losses against Oleksandr Usyk.

This marks his fifth retirement announcement, having previously stepped away from the sport in 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2022.

Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh intends to hold talks aimed at convincing the 36-year-old to return to the ring.

Fury's previous retirements have proven to be short-lived, as he was eventually lured back for several major fights.

McKenzie believes Fury should not pass up the lucrative opportunities that await him in the ring.

"Yeah whatever they offer him whether it is £100 million or £200 million, take it," McKenzie told talkSPORT.com.

A potential Fury-Joshua clash remains one of boxing's biggest draws, even without world titles at stake.

Joshua himself is looking to rebuild after suffering a stoppage defeat to Daniel Dubois in September.

Reports had suggested the fight could be worth £500 million, though these claims were dismissed by Saudi official Alalshikh.

Despite both fighters' recent setbacks, the match-up could still command significant paydays, particularly if arranged as a two-fight deal.
