The 35-year-old has been the subject of rumours and speculation after his bout with Oleksandr Usyk was postponed

Tyson Fury's manager, Spencer Brown, has claimed there's a mole in the camp amid rumours over his sparring.

There have been claims the 35-year-old was dropped by youngster Jai Opetaia, something those close to the Gypsy King have repeatedly denied.

Johnny Nelson has fuelled some of the speculation, boasting he's got somebody providing him with information.

And Brown has now confirmed there's a mole, while also saying the 'grass' has been getting their facts wrong.

“Johnny Nelson, he’s got a mole in our camp. We’ve been digging holes everywhere because there’s a mole there somewhere," he told iFL TV.

“We got to dig them up with a shovel. There’s an informant in the camp.

"What we needed was the Gestapo to find out who the grass was.

"I got one in particular [suspected informant]. I got him down as a midnight, yeah.

“Whoever was grassing wasn’t a very good grass because he got it all wrong.

"Jai Opetaia knocking Tyson out is like Mount Vesuvius falling down in an afternoon. It just didn’t happen. Tyson was on fire.

“After the spar, I celebrated with a cheesecake. That’s how good the spar was.

"Yes, I do. Of course, there’s somebody."

Fury had been due to face Usyk on December 23 before the bout was pushed back to February 17.

It will now take place on May 18, however, after the Briton sustained damage to his eye.

Fury's brother, Shane, has also addressed claims that his sibling had a terrible time in sparring.

And he has shut down the rumours, insisting he'd be honest and confirm them if they were accurate.

Speaking to Boxing King Media, he said: “I can assure you he [Opetaia] never dropped anyone.

"If he beat Tyson up I would tell you that ‘yeah he’s a very good man and whatever’ – be straight.

"I wouldn’t be saying anything if Tyson did the same with him – they’re spar stories.

“A load of rubbish – that obviously never happened, just never happened.

"But people will believe exactly what they want to believe. Any little bit of negative, they can get views off them. I suppose it’s the business.

“These people – if they’re doing 100 videos a month, 85 of them is off Tyson, negativeness.”

He continued: “Tyson’s never ever been dominated, in the whole process of a spar.

"He’s gone in there and he’s been tired on occasions. You’re not yourself every day in training. If you are, you’re not training hard enough.

“Even in them tired moments, he’s never been dominated, he’s never been beat up. Never ever.

"With sparring partners – listen he’s had some really good ones – Moses (Itauma), just unbelievable, he’s an unbelievable talent, just turned 19 – he’s had a few fights. Very good sparring for Tyson.

“But as far as Tyson getting beat up by anyone and dropped.

"Tyson’s never ever been dropped in sparring, ever – he looks like he’s got a f***ing glass chin in the ring – but never in sparring has he been dropped.”
