Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has finally broken his social media silence, but fans hoping for another boxing comeback have been left disappointed.
The 'Gypsy King' returned to Instagram today after weeks of quiet following his retirement announcement earlier this month.
However, rather than teasing a return to the ring, Fury's post promoted a competition to win a Mercedes SL55 through Ring Magazine.
The 36-year-old's appearance on social media had initially excited supporters, who have been eagerly anticipating news of a potential return since his retirement statement on January 13th.

Fury announced his retirement in a brief Instagram video, stating: "Hi everybody, I'll make this short and sweet, I'd like to announce my retirement from boxing.
"It's been a blast and I've loved every single minute of it. I'm going to end with this, Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everybody, I'll see you on the other side."
This marks Fury's third retirement from the sport, following previous departures after victories over Wladimir Klitschko and Dillian Whyte.
However, this retirement comes in different circumstances, following his narrow defeat to Oleksandr Usyk last year.
Many fans initially doubted the permanence of his decision, with one top comment stating: "See you in 6 months lad."

The latest social media post from Fury prompted immediate reactions from disappointed fans hoping for comeback news.
"Thought you were announcing a comeback," wrote one supporter on Instagram.
Another fan commented: "Really thought he was out of retirement already when I seen this video."

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn told the Daily Mail that Fury would need to reverse his retirement decision within "three or four weeks" to make the fight possible.
"None of us know what Fury will do next, but if we are to see the fight in the summer, he would probably have to come out of retirement in the next three or four weeks," Hearn said.
The timeline puts additional pressure on Fury to make a swift decision about his boxing future.
