The Gypsy King will be hoping to win their second bout on December 21

Tyson Fury has decided to spar with 'Britain's Mike Tyson' Moses Itauma ahead of his seismic showdown with Oleksandr Usyk in December.

The Gypsy King will be hoping to avenge his defeat to the same opponent back in May, having suffered the first loss of his professional career in Saudi Arabia.

As for Itauma, the 19-year-old will face Demsey McKean on the same night.

The teenager, who has been compared to Tyson due to his huge punching power, has been invited to spar with his fellow Briton for a second time - having previously done so earlier in the year.

Itauma, speaking to Sky Sports, says he's looking forward to the chance to reunite with Fury.

And the youngster also revealed that he'll be using the sparring sessions to learn more about himself, too.

"I've got my own fight to think about," he said.

"We're kind of similar styles, the likes of me and Usyk, we've kind of got a similar style so I feel like I'll be very beneficial.

"It just compliments me. It compliments me but listen, I'm not going to go there just to help him.

"I want to gauge my ability off his ability. Obviously I'm looking forward to [that]."

On sparring with Fury earlier in the year, he continued: "Whether it was inside the ring or outside the ring, I learned a lot definitely.

"Outside the ring, [it is about] maybe getting a balance in life.

"Inside the ring being a bit more patient, a bit calmer, not trying to kill everyone. People have pulled out of fights with me and I don't blame them.

"If I was in their shoes, I would pull out as well. I wouldn't want to fight me either.

"[But] I have to show it. It's all good everyone talking about it but I've actually got to back it up."

While Fury performed well against Usyk back in May, the Ukrainian was a level above.

That means the Gypsy King will actually be the underdog in December's rematch, despite being taller and heavier than his rival.

Eddie Hearn, speaking to IFLTV, has admitted he wants Fury to win to boost the chances of a bout with Anthony Joshua happening one day.

He does admit, however, that Usyk is the favourite.

"I have no idea how to beat him, but Tyson Fury is a very smart fighter," he said.

“He has smart people in the corner, but also, from an IQ level in boxing, he’s right up there.

"Unfortunately, so is Oleksandr Usyk. So, my money, especially when he’s won the first fight, will always be on Oleksandr Usyk.

“My heart wants to see a Tyson Fury win. Not just because he’s British but also because I want to set up the AJ fight.

"I’d love to see him do, but I do see him as the underdog in this fight.”
