Oleksandr Usyk's promoter Alexander Krassyuk has confidently rebuffed any suggestion the rematch clause in place for Tyson Fury's fight will be bypassed to allow Anthony Joshua to fight the Gypsy King.
The undisputed heavyweight championship fight is finally set to take place next month on May 18 after it was originally delayed due to Fury getting a cut above his eye in sparring.
The heavyweight division has been on standby while they await the winner of the blockbuster fight between Fury and Usyk.
But any prospective challenger will have to wait until the reported rematch between them both if the loses activates that clause.
Joshua going toe-to-toe against Fury is touted as the next big fight to be announced, but any possible bout will likely not take place until 2025 at the earliest.

Saudi sports chief Turki Alalshikh got tongues wagging about the possibility of stepping in to get Fury and Joshua in the ring together after posing for a picture with the latter.
However, Krassyuk has mocked the two British fighters by insisting any bout between the two will come after both of them have lost to Usyk.
“This is not a subject for discussion as Tyson will not be able to win,” Krassyuk told World Boxing News.
“But Fury’s loss does not cancel the possible match between AJ and Gypsy King as they can define who the stronger loser is.”
He added: “I’m sure they were a bit embarrassed to admit it directly, so they tried to perform confidently.
"But the genuine fact that I’ve heard was the predictions regarding the early finish of the fight.
"The bout will really be stopped inside the distance.
“It was a farewell requiem. Tyson Fury gathered the media to say bye-bye to his WBC championship belt."
Fury clearly feels differently about the undisputed fight as he claimed 'size really matters' in his press conference.

“I respect him, as a man, as a fighter. Everyone has to respect the man’s achievements," Fury said last week.
“Good fighter – I have a tough challenge in front of me. But I’m very confident in my ability and I’m very confident I’ll beat the guy.
“When the cruiserweights step up to the big boys, usually they get found wanting.

“You can beat the average big ones but you can’t beat the elite big ones, because size really matters.
“We have weight divisions for a reason and he’s going to be found wanting when he fights me on May 18.
“This is my time, my destiny, my era and my generation. Fact.”
