Netflix make decision on Mike Tyson replacement for Jake Paul fight after postponement

Mike Tyson was forced to pull out of his fight with Jake Paul due to medical concerns.
Netflix have reportedly already decided that they won't look for a replacement for Mike Tyson to take on Jake Paul next month.
The controversial fight between Tyson and Paul was postponed after the 57-year-old suffered an 'ulcer flare-up' while on a plane.
"Unfortunately, due to my ulcer flareup, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover," said Tyson.
"My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon."

Netflix confirmed that the fight will be rescheduled at a later date when Tyson is fully fit and ready.
Their statement read: "Unfortunately Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will not face-off on July 20 as planned.
"Tyson’s recent ulcer flare up has limited his ability to train fully for the next few weeks.
"The fight will be rescheduled for a date later this year after Mike’s able to resume training with no limitations and both fighters can have equal time to prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime matchup!"
Netflix's announcement raised questions on whether the planned event on July 20 would still go ahead without Tyson.
Paul had only just started his training camp a few weeks ago and there was some suggestion he could look at fighting someone else while he waits for Tyson.
The YouTuber fed into the rumours as he called out KSI on social media to step in to fight on July 20.
KSI issued an immediate response and played down the possibility of stepping into the ring next month before calling on a fight in winter.

He replied: "I've already got a fight lined up in August.
"Instead of you fighting an OAP at the end of the year (no one wants to see this), fight me in December instead."
However, Helwani claims that Netflix has no plans to stick to the July 20 date now that Tyson is unavailable.

“From what I was told, Netflix was steadfast that their first live boxing event, they want it to be Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson," Helwani said on the MMA Hour.
"So, they had a handful of names, they were not interested.
"They want to wait for that and hope to do it in the 4th quarter.”
