Mike Tyson, 58, is just weeks away from stepping into the ring with Jake Paul, 27.

Mike Tyson has been given 'no chance' of beating Jake Paul in their controversial fight next month by legendary boxing promoter Bob Arum.

The fight between Tyson and Paul has caused a stir in the boxing world due to the 31-year age gap between them both.

If it goes ahead as a professionally sanctioned bout, it will break records as the biggest age gap between two fighters in an official fight in history.

There have been fears raised about the risks Tyson faces stepping back into the ring at the age of 58.

Eddie Hearn recently scolded Paul for going ahead with the fight and called it 'dangerous' and 'irresponsible'.

There are still plenty of tickets available to buy for the fight night with the cheapest being just £58.

Organisers are expecting a sell-out despite the criticism the fight has received with Netflix cashing in on their first live boxing event.

But Arum, who briefly promoted Tyson in the early stages of his heavyweight career, doesn't think the fight will be a spectacle at all.

The legendary boxing promoter doesn't think Tyson has any hope of beating a much younger opponent like Paul.

And Arum is also concerned that Tyson could get seriously hurt in the fight.

“The answer is no [Tyson can’t beat Paul]," he said.

"A 58 year old guy, no matter how good they were, no matter how athletic they were, are not gonna be able to fight.

"You can’t throw punches like you’re supposed to, you can’t do a lot of things.

"I hope Mike doesn’t get hurt, but I really give him relatively no chance.

"You lose that muscle memory as you get older.”

The fight was originally scheduled to take place on July 20, but Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up on board a plane that led to it being postponed.

That incident sparked further fears on whether Tyson would be able to compete in the boxing ring with Paul.

The former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world has since been posting regular clips of him putting in work in the gym to prepare for the bout.
