Mike Tyson's camp was forced into denying Jake Paul's bizarre claim he had Parkinson's

Mike Tyson has broke his silence on social media after Jake Paul's bizarre claims that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's before their controversial fight in November last year.

Tyson's camp promptly denied the claims made by Paul, who was speaking to fellow YouTube star Adin Ross during a livestream and discussing the usage of psychadelic drugs for healing purposes.

A clip of Paul's unfounded claims went viral on social media, where the American said: "Toad cured Tyson's Parkinson's so that he could come back and fight."

Tyson has since posted on his personal Instagram page of himself smiling with the cryptic caption: "I only laugh if something is funny."

It is the first time that Iron Mike has appeared to address the comments made by Paul, who retracted his claims on the boxing legend on social media.

"Bruh… Mike Tyson didn't have no Parkinson's... WTF. Why the f*** is the internet so stupid for. I misspoke," Paul wrote.

He went on to clarify his earlier comments about toad venom, saying: "Meant he used toad to heal his pain.

"He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do."

Tyson's camp made an immediate response to Paul's comments on his health with a strong rebuttal, with fans shocked by such a claim considering their high-profile fight in November last year.

"Mike is happy and perfectly healthy. He doesn't have Parkinson's or any other illness," his representatives confirmed.

There had been many question marks over Tyson's health in the build-up to his bout with Paul, which ended in the YouTube claiming victory on farcical circumstances.

Especially considering that the original clash, scheduled for May last year, was postponed because the 58-year-old suffered a health scare.

The boxing icon suffered an ulcer flare-up during a flight and was even spotted using a walking stick, though was cleared to fight by the Texas Boxing Commission.

Tyson entered the ring against Paul in a professional fight for the first time since 2005 with the 27-year-old winning by unanimous decision.

However, after the fight, the social media star admitted he was pulling his punches due to the fact his opponent could clearly not keep up.

When asked if he took his foot off the gas, Paul admitted: “Yeah, definitely, definitely a bit. I wanted to give the fans a show, but I didn’t want to hurt someone who didn’t need to be hurt.”
