Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will fight it out at the AT&T Stadium on November 15

Mike Tyson has been told he could end his fight against Jake Paul in 'one minute' if he sticks to his trainer's advice.

That is despite the 58-year-old's well-documented health worries in the build-up to the fight.

Tyson will fight Paul on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas but the fight has been shrouded in controversy.

Particularly after the initial date on July 20 was postponed as Iron Mike suffered a health scare, delaying the bout for another four months.

And former professional boxer Jeff Fenech, who also has trained Tyson, has revealed how he spoke to the legendary fighter and warned him about his health and told him to knock Paul out in the opening rounds.

Fenech told Wide World of Sports: “I do not doubt if Mike takes it easy and doesn’t try to punch at the same time [he will win].

"If he makes Jake Paul miss, Mike will knock him out in a couple of rounds – one hundred percent.

"I spoke to Mike. I told him what I felt. Hopefully, he’ll listen to me.

"We said the same thing anyway. If he does what he said, then I have no doubt he will knock him out. He’ll have no problem.”

Fenech has endured his own health problems over his career, while he trained Tyson in 2005 and again in 2020 in the build-up to his exhibiton clash against Roy Jones Jr.

The 60-year-old added: "We were talking about my health and that [on the phone].

"I’m not worried about my health; don’t get me wrong, I am, but I’m more worried about him. I hope he does the right thing to beat Jake Paul.

“If Mike lands one clean punch, and if he makes him miss, he will make him pay.

"If he doesn’t try and strike at the same time and is patient, the fight could be over in one minute.”

When Tyson and Paul touch gloves on November 15, it will be the biggest age gap in a professional boxing fight ever - 31 years.

Paul, 27, has only fought one boxer in his 10-1 career - losing to Tommy Fury in February 2023.

Tyson, meanwhile, has not fought professionally since Kevin McBride, where he was badly beaten and forced to retire on the stool.
