Mike Tyson was forced to pull out of his original fight with Jake Paul in the summer.

Mike Tyson has declared he is fully fighting fit and 'everything is sorted out' after his ulcer flare up in the summer caused his bout with Jake Paul to be pushed back.

'Iron Mike' has not fought professionally since 2005 with his only other exhibition bout coming in 2020 against Roy Jones Jr.

But the world of boxing was shocked when it was announced that Tyson would be stepping back into the ring to face YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul.

The announcement caused plenty of controversy due to the 31-year age gap between them both.

They were originally set to fight on July 20, but Tyson suffered a medical scare in May while on board a plane.

Tyson was said to have become nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up before medics arrived.

The health scare prompted fresh concerns over his scheduled fight with Paul and there were calls for the bout to be cancelled for good.

But a new date was set just a few days later for November 15 with both fighters now coming to the end of their preparations.

And Tyson insists the health scare he suffered in the summer is behind him now with no concerns going forward.

"Everything's sorted out," Tyson told talkSPORT.

"I had an ulcer problem. I was eating bad food."

While the 58-year-old is hoping to put on a show at the AT&T Stadium, Tyson won't be ranking his bout against Paul among his greatest fights.

"I wouldn't rank it that high," he said.

"I'm just in there to perform.

"I'm not in there to judge my performance, I'm in there to judge Mike, me."

Paul first fought back in 2020 and the majority of his fights have come against former MMA stars.

The only time he's come up against an active boxer was against Tommy Fury, who gave Paul his first professional loss.

Despite the defeat, Paul has repeated his intentions to one day become a world champion in boxing.

But Tyson clearly feels his upcoming opponent has a long way to go to make that happen and likened him to an 'amateur'.

"He's a good fighter, but he only has 10 fights," he said.

"That's considered an amateur in our field."
