Mike Tyson has suggested he's got no immediate plans to return to boxing following his controversial defeat to Jake Paul back in November.

The 58-year-old raised eyebrows by deciding to lock horns with a man who was 29 years his junior at the time.

Commercially, the fight was a big success with millions of boxing fans tuning in to watch the action unfold.

Yet those hoping to see Tyson roll back the years were left disappointed, with the veteran unable to summon the magic of old.

Paul outperformed his rival on the night, with Tyson looking a pale imitation of the man who previously dominated the sport.

After the bout, Tyson suggested he wasn't done with boxing. He called out Logan Paul, Jake's brother, who appeared perplexed by the idea.

Now, in a new interview with Men's Health, the boxing legend has hinted that he's happy not fighting for the time being.

"The only person I'm fighting now is my accountant," said the 58-year-old. "Other than that, I'm just living life and I'm doing good right now."

While Tyson didn't get the result he wanted against Paul, he still won round fans by daring to face a man who is significantly younger than himself.

The veteran also got into shape. When asked about his work-out routine now, he said: "I’ll still do 200 reps a day – shoulders, abs, sit-ups – usually every morning."

On whether a self-care routine can positively impact mental health, he continued: "Listen. If you look well and you feel well, you are well.

"But it's not always about how you look, it's how you feel."

Meanwhile, though Tyson appears to be done with boxing for the time being, Paul is still eager to get in the ring.

The American has some grand plans and is eyeing a lucrative bout with Anthony Joshua.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, recently confirmed the Briton was open to the idea.

He did suggest, however, that there was plenty that needed to be resolved before a bout can take place.

"AJ would fight Jake Paul," he said.

"He would fight anyone, to be honest with you.

"And if Jake Paul wants to step up and fight Anthony Joshua, he will need the relevant insurance.

"But the only thing that was disappointing is that he said 2026. Do it in 2025 if you really want to do it."

Hearn continued: "Those two have spoken, I spoke to AJ this morning and he went, "Of course, I’ll fight him.

"Jake creates massive events, unbelievable viewership and no disrespect to Jake Paul but it’s a straightforward night’s work.

"I like this calling out of Canelo [Alvarez] and others. AJ is another chance. But if they are game, why not?"
